2X Marketing
Being wrongfully terminated from an unprincipled agency like 2X Marketing can be a deeply disillusioning and unsettling experience, even more so when it is steeped in intolerance and prejudice. My termination from 2X Marketing, hereinafter referred to as “agency”, was a stark reminder of the deeply entrenched and unabashed bigotry that plagues certain corners of our society. As someone who has always taken pride in my work, and who staunchly stands up for my faith as a Muslim, I was taken aback by the level of racism and intolerance displayed by the management of this “agency”. Their delusional, irrational, and distorted perception of “Malaysian” principles and values, coupled with their bigotry, was not only deeply disturbing but also significantly unethical.
I am known as The Muslim Apologist on my YouTube channel. A channel where I echo the principles of justice, peace, and harmony, standing against all forms of discrimination, be it racial or religious. YouTube’s Community Guidelines form a protective mantle against the propagation of racism and religious bigotry, which I have respected and adhered to since my channel’s inception in 2020.
Before joining this so-called 2X Marketing “agency”, my employers from my previous roles had never taken issue with my online activities. They understood the distinction between my professional obligations and personal beliefs, never prying into my off-duty activities as long as company resources were not being exploited for personal gain. As The Muslim Apologist, I represent the Muslim community and its beliefs, not an individual subjected to the “agency’s” twisted interpretation of “values”.
However, this “agency” called 2X Marketing assumed a false role of authority, painting themselves as the judge, jury, and executioner. They brazenly hurled false and derogatory allegations against me, in an attempt to justify their discrimination. The irony lay in their ‘evidence’ – a deleted test email from myself to myself, presented to the mediator from the Industrial Relations Department.

The Unethical Practices of 2X Marketing
Despite their allegations and a wrongful accusation of failing a “background check”, the final judgment highlighted the truth. The scales of justice tipped in my favour, recognizing the unlawful violation of my contract. The “agency” was compelled to pay MYR 8500 as ex gratia compensation, a fact that they conveniently overlooked while levelling unfounded charges against me.
Their actions and the subsequent verdict have lent me a sense of vindication, allowing me to view their misguided behaviour with a sense of humour. I invite them, with the confidence of my integrity, to challenge this outcome in a civil court if they so desire. I am certain that any rational judge would see the glaring falsity in their accusations and decision against me.
Rest assured, I have no intention of staying silent about the incident. I will continue to raise my voice against their unethical practices and the fraudulent manner in which they conduct their business. I aim to inform potential employees about the nature of this 2X Marketing “agency” in order to prevent them from falling into the same trap that I did. Their lies, bigotry, and false allegations cannot stand in the face of truth, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that justice prevails.
In the end, it is not about the victory I achieved in the face of 2X Marketing’s wrongful accusations. It is about exposing their fraudulent operations and ensuring no one else suffers from their bigotry. It’s about standing tall and using my voice to fight against their unjust actions. This is my pledge as I continue to champion justice, both in my personal life and through my platform as The Muslim Apologist.
